SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral Service for Cheryl Lynn Atchley, 54, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2017, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA, with Rev. Jimmy Graves officiating.
Cheryl was born November 30, 1962, in Wichita, Kansas and passed away on June 16, 2017, in Shreveport, LA. She graduated from Captain Shreve High School and attended the University of Northeast Louisiana. Cheryl was a loved and trusted employee of Benteler Steel in Shreveport.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother, LuAnn Atchley. She is survived by her loving, and devoted children, daughter, Amanda Hammett, and son, Blake Hammett; two beautiful granddaughters, Madison and Neveah Hammett; father, Ray Atchley; two sisters, Anita Lindley and Sandra Simpson; and her brother, Daryl Atchley.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 920 Pierremont Rd., Shreveport, LA 71106.
