Chip (Lloyd Jr.) Lenard

Chip Lenard, a devout Christian, died on May 14, 2024 at the age of 64. He was born in Shreveport and lived here most of his life.  He was an active member in Gideons International and Christ Lutheran Church.   He will be remembered for his love and dedication to his family, his efforts to make his community better and his giving comfort and joy to all he met. A graduate of Louisiana Tech, he was retired from his career as an investment counselor. He loved playing the guitar, hunting and being in the woods.

Chip was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Sky Lenard.  He was loved and will be missed by his sister, Dawn Frye and her husband Hollis of Longview, Texas; and by his brother Brian Lenard of Hammond, Louisiana.  He was also uncle to Ian Frye of Nampa, Idaho and Holly Frye Sanders of Liberty Hill, Texas.

Services will be held at Christ Lutheran Church on Thursday May 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m..  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that a donation may be made to Gideons International, Shreveport West Camp, P. O. Box 3802, Shreveport, LA, 71133 or to the charity of your choice.
