Mitchell, LA - Funeral services for Christine Sistrunk will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield with Reverend Bob Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery in Mitchell. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

She was born June 3, 1929 in Sabine Town, TX to Jim and Hattie Morris McFarland and passed away in Alexandria, LA on September 7, 2015. Preceding Christine in death were her two infant sons.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 69 years T J Sistrunk; daughter Jo Ann Sistrunk Angelo and husband Bob; and numerous family members and friends.
