Homer, LA: Funeral services were held for Clarence Ray Gray, 67, at the Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 10 a.m. with Rev. William Colvin, officiating. Interment followed at the Homer Arlington cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5-7 p.m.
Ray was born April 15, 1948 in Minden, LA to Clarence Mack Gray and Etoile Elizabeth Nave Gray. He entered into rest Friday, March 4th in Ruston. He was of the Baptist Faith and a truck driver.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Salsburg and Brenda Gray; one brother, Travis Gray; and two granddaughters, Jessica Dean and Brianna Gail Gray.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kay Baum Gray of Homer; one daughter, Tina S. Gray of Bossier City; step-daughter, Pamela Leith and husband, Tom of Simsboro; two sons, Todd Dewayne Gray and wife, Angela of West Monroe and Tim Gray and wife, Cassandra of Ruston; step-son, Charles Dean and wife, Brandi of Bossier City; five sisters, Beatrice Fatheree of Bossier City, Judy Gray of Wylie, TX, Connie Valdez and husband, Pedro of Doyline, Bonnie Burgess and husband, Glen of Doyline, and Linda Gray of Minden; two brothers, Rickie Gray and wife, Gail of Minden and Earl Gray of Minden; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Scotty McCoy, Michael McCoy, Tracy Gray, Jamey Gray, Justin Nixon and Matthew Gray.
