Claudine â??Grannyâ?? Swinford Rosett

Claudine "Granny" Swinford Rosett Claudine "Granny" Swinford Rosett went home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, June 11, 2015 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Claudine was born in Linden, Texas on October 1, 1929, to Claude and Reba Swinford. She was a long time member of Trinity Heights Baptist Church where she served on numerous committees. She was a true Proverbs 31 woman. She spent her life giving and serving others. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, June 14, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. at the Rose-Neath Marshall Street Funeral Home. Services will be held at the Chapel on Monday, June 15, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Harris Chapel Cemetery in Hughes Spring, Texas at 3:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Dan Lay of Trinity Heights. Claudine was met at the "Pearly Gates" by her parents, her brother Lester Swinford, and her husband of 55 years, Joe Rosett. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bobby Rosett (Pam), Patty Rosett Lowe (Rex), and Ronny Rosett, grandchildren Patrick Rosett, Stephanie Rosett Statham (Cody), Jessica Lowe Hall (Brian), Rachel Lowe McCormick (Chad), Chynna and Ansley Rosett, great-grandchildren, Landrie Statham, Hunter and Hannah Beth Herrington, Austin and Josey McCormick. Honoring Claudine as pallbearers will be her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Trinity Heights Baptist Church, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or the charity of donor's choice.
