BENTON, LA - A memorial service for Clifford R. Book, 64, will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Cypress Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Tommy Patton. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Clifford was born in Piggott, AR on November 24, 1951 to Otis and Betty Jean Book and died June 8, 2016 in Bossir City, LA. He retired from General Motors as an engineer. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean New Book. Clifford is survived by his wife, Kathy Lynn Book; father, Otis Ray Book; sons, Logan James Book, Sr. and his wife, Miranda, Jared Owen Book; sister, Peggy A. Thies; brother-in-law, Barry Peter Thies and grandson, Logan James Book, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Cypress Baptist Church Building Fund or Music Fund.
