BERNICE, LA: Funeral services will be held for Mr. Clifford Paul Witt, 75, at Lisbon United Methodist Church of Lisbon, LA, on Monday, March 12, 2018, at 2:00 P.M., with Rev. Terry Willis, officiating. Interment will be at Lisbon Methodist Cemetery in Lisbon, LA. The family will receive friends at the church from 1-2 P.M., prior to the service. Mr. Witt, "Grandpa," was born February 16, 1943, in Las Cruces, NM, to Clifford Robert and Lillian Adair Witt. He entered into rest on Thursday, March 8, 2018, in Shreveport, LA. Mr. Witt, "Grandpa," was an Army Veteran, a loving husband, and a patient, kind, family man. He also was a business owner with his cooking being his specialty. Mr. Witt, "Grandpa," was a selfless man who put everyone's needs before his own. He leaves this earth, but all of his wonderful qualities that he took time to teach his kids and grandkids will be left to be taught to future generation. God took home a very special Angel this time. Thank You, Lord, for letting him be a part of our family. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tom Witt. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Virginia Hastings Witt; a son, William Eugene Parham and wife, Linda of Calhoun, LA; a sister, Kay Downes of Albuquerque, NM; three grandchildren, Heath Parham and wife, Stacy, Kim Carpenter and husband, Paul, and Toby Page and wife, Kelli; seven great-grandchildren, Kristian Parham and wife, Hope, Daniel Parham and girlfriend, Abby, Hannah Parham and fiancé', Zach, Kaitlin Deason and husband, T.J., Dillan Carpenter, Brandon Carpenter, and Jack Page; four great great-grandchildren, Ashtyn Burns, Korie Shae Parham, Kennedi Blake Parham, and Brylee Grace Deason; a dear friend, Shayne Ford from Missouri; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
