Shreveport, LA - Funeral service for Clinton LeFever Smith, 86, will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Dennis Aaron. Interment will follow on the grounds of Campground Cemetery located near Bienville, LA. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 at the funeral home. Clinton was born December 28, 1928 in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away February 25, 2015. He was a lifetime resident of Shreveport, Louisiana and served our country in the Army/Korean War. Clinton was a Mechanical Engineer, retired from Beaird Industry, and loved by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Myrtle Smith. Left to cherish the wonderful memory is his loving wife, Louise M. Smith; son, Bill Kneipp and wife Pam; nephew and niece, Darrell and Susan Pepper; grandchildren, Rusty Kneipp and wife Brooke, Jacob Kneipp and fiancé Alexx, Tammie White and Jon, and Beckie Alverson; great-grandchildren, Colby and Addaline Kneipp, Megan and Kade Hogg, Madalin Farmer, and Lindsay Alverson; special friends, Claude and Janice Gilcrease and Lola Taylor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Honoring Clinton as pallbearers will be Darrell Pepper, Jared Hilde, Kevin Mercer, Rusty Kneipp, Jacob Kneipp, and Brent Akin.
