Clyde D. Patterson

A private graveside service for Clyde D. Patterson will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend Andy Goff.

Clyde was born on April 14, 1942 in Zwolle, Louisiana to Ell and Annie Laurie Patterson and passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Clyde served his country in the United States Army 2nd Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment (Blackhawks) in Vietnam. He joined St. Luke's Methodist Church and has been a faithful member since 1964. He was employed at Home Federal Bank for 54 years and in his free time he enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, telling stories and spending time with his family and friends. To know Clyde was to love him and he will truly be missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Ann Parrott Patterson.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Laurie Wise and husband, Jimmy of New Orleans, Louisiana and Elizabeth Smith and husband, Erik of Shreveport, Louisiana; grandchildren, Scott Jones, William Wise and Ava Smith; great-grandson, Connor Jones and niece, Missie Patterson.
