CMSgt. Edison (Tracy) Luter (USAF Ret.)

BOSSIER CITY, LA - Funeral services for Edison Tracy Luter, 84, will be 12 noon Monday, December 8, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City. Officiating will be Rev. Casey Hough, pastor of Waller Baptist Church, where Mr. Luter attended church. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Rd., Keithville, LA. Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 11 a.m. Tracy Luter went to be with the Lord on December 3, 2014. He was born January 29, 1930 in Biggers, AR. Tracy was the youngest of 11 children born to Elmer and Margaret Emidee Luter. Tracy served for 27 years in the US Air Force. After retirement he was employed by Somner Co. and later by the Caddo Parish Commission. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Luter. Tracy is survived by his wife, Laverla Luter; son, Kevin Luter; daughter, Kim Wellborn and husband, Jim; brother, Billy Luter and grandchildren, Joshua Luter, Chelsea Wellborn and Ryan Wellborn. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorials be made to the Parents Association of the Northwest Louisiana Development Center, P. O. Box 6312, Bossier City, LA 71111 or to the charity of your choice.
