SHREVEPORT, LA - A Celebration of Life for Cody Frank Raley will be 2 p.m. Sunday December 27, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Justin Haigler of the Simple Church. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, Shreveport. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City.
Cody was born on May 26, 1985 in Shreveport and went to his heavenly home on Monday, December 21, 2015 due to complications from a seizure. He was employed at Raley and Associates, Inc. as a CADD Technician for the last seven years. Cody was a member of Bayou Jeepers and the founder and creative director of Necromanor Haunted House. He was a Christian and in his formative years he was a member of First Baptist Bossier. Cody was an avid reader and extremely passionate about history. He loved his jeep club and rock crawling with his friends. Necromanor was his second home and creating scary entertainment for the community was another passion of his.
Cody is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lois and Walter Laun, paternal grandmother, Frances Raley, and his aunt, Diana Pittman.
He is survived by his loving wife of two years, Amy Owen Raley; parents, Teresa and Jeff Raley; brother, Colton Raley; paternal grandfather, Earl L. Raley, Sr.; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and his dog, Bella.
Honoring Cody as pallbearers will be Caylan Coco, James Loftin, Lee Nugent, Cory Owen, Brett Pittman, Zach Raley, Scott Serio, and Jeremy Simmons. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Necromanor Haunted House Screamteam.
