Col. Ralph L Dru

Shreveport, LA. - Funeral services celebrating the life of Col. Ralph Leland Dru, MD, age 81 will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside with Father Rigoberto Betancourt of Christ the King Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday, February 18^th from 6:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Dr. Dru was born in Thomas, OK on January 27, 1935 to Ralph and Dora Alice Drunkard and passed away on February 14, 2016 at his residence. He was a retired Colonel in the US Army, where he served for 30 years and the chief medical doctor for MEPS. Dr. Dru is survived by his wife of 20 years, Concepcion S. Dru; sons, Charles Wayne Dru, Issac Eric Dru, Jose Rivera-Santos, Jonny Rivera-Santos; grandchildren, Traci Dru, Jamie Dru, Isaac Dru, Xavi Rivera-Santos, Jose Romero and Jesus Romero, Charles James Williams, Aaron Ray Williams and Ray Alan Williams; niece, Shirley Williams along with numerous extended family and friends.
