Colleen Ann Harper Hull, 61, passed away Friday September 1, 2017. Colleen was born on August 11, 1956 in McKeesport, PA. She was the daughter of John R. Harper and Josephine Moore Harper. On August 24, 1996 she married Roland E. (Ronnie) Hull of Shreveport, LA. They were happily married for 21 years and the parents of two children. After graduating from High School, Colleen pursued her College degree and obtained a Master's Degree from Franklin University in Ohio. After marrying and moving to Shreveport, LA she went to work for the City of Shreveport as a Human Resources Analyst. She had a love of history, and became a Historical Reenactor where she met her future husband in Springhill, TN in October of 1995. She was a wonderful wife and a loving mother to her children. She loved cats and enjoyed being called "the crazy cat lady." Colleen had a servant's heart, and was always willing to extend the hand of Christian Charity to all who were in need. She loved her family in Ohio and Louisiana and was especially dedicated to the raising and welfare of her children. She was preceded in death by her parents, John R. Harper and Josephine Moore Harper. Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, Rachel Hull Johnson (Wayne) and Shelby Hull (Kelsey Cook). Also left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Kathy A. Harper Collins (Ned), Dorothy J. Harper Schreck (John), John R. Harper (Helen) and Scott R. Harper (Rena) and a host of nieces of nephews. A memorial will be held in Columbus Ohio in September at a date to be determined. A celebration of life will also be held in Shreveport later this year. The Family would like to thank the Staff of the Aime Inpatient Hospice for their wonderful care and understanding in Colleens last hours, and the Staff of Christus Highland Hospital for their wonderful services.
