Mrs. Connie Lee Pierce Wall was born in Monticello, Arkansas, to Atlas Augustus and Marion Smith Pierce, on July 21, 1950. She died on July 22, 2014, in the Saint Louis University Hospital Intensive Care Unit, awaiting a liver transplant, after many months of a valiant fight against Hemochromatosis. She entered her heavenly home at 12:05 a.m. Connie loved to cook for her family and friends. Everyone looked forward to her New Orleans Saints parties. She was an avid fan of the football team, holding season tickets, and even maintaining a second residence in the French Quarter. Connie had an abundance of friends, both young and old. She was extremely generous, helpful, and always thinking of others. She spent her early years in Ringgold, LA. Connie was a Century 21 Real Estate Agent, and retail store owner of the House of San Francisco in Shreveport, prior to meeting her beloved husband, Dr. Simeon Wall, Sr. She was a homemaker over the past three decades. Connie was a member of many volunteer organizations through the years, but particularly enjoyed her role serving on the Independence Bowl Foundation. Most of all, Connie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, to many, whose absence will be colossal, as she touched their lives, daily, in a monumental fashion.
