Cory King

Shawn \"Corey\" King 1985-2018 Benton, LA- Corey King was was born November 30, 1985 and passed away at an early age of 32 in Yazoo, MS on August 5, 2018. Corey starting working with his father Saunders \"Sandy\" King when he was just a young boy. After his father passed he followed in all his brothers footsteps and became one of most hard working electricians we have ever seen. His enjoyments were riding his Harley with his brother, slinging mud on his dirt bike, fishing with his cousin, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving mother Shelia King of Benton, La; Brothers: Shea King and wife Shasta King of Grand Cane, LA, Stacy King of Haughton,LA, Michael King of Dallas, TX, and Saunders King Jr. of Haughton, LA; Sisters: Ashley King and Lester Katan of Logansport, LA, and Sandra King of Haughton, LA, Grandparent: Billie Boggs of Shreveport, LA. Cherished by his Nephews: Colin and Logan King, and Anthone Katan, Nieces: Victoria and Emily King. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Roseneath Funeral Home in Logansport, LA between the hours of 4 to 7 pm. Visitation will be between 4 and 6 pm, service will start at 6 pm.
