Funeral services for Mrs. Coy Whitfield Smith will be held Monday June 23, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana. Officiating will be Pastor Russell Snider. Interment will follow at Bistineau Cemetery in Heflin, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Mrs. Smith was born September 19, 1921 in Roland, Arkansas and entered into rest June 20, 2014 in Minden, Louisiana. Her parents William Henry and Ellon Catherine Whitfield, husband Calvin Smith, Infant daughter Judith Elaine Smith, daughter Margaret Diana Hoyle, granddaughter Linda Beth Smith, daughter-in-law Lou Alice Smith, a grandson-in-law, great-grandson, great great-granddaughter, and 6 siblings preceded her in death.
