Craig Joseph Gaspard

A mass of Christian burial will be held for Craig Joseph Gaspard beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marksville. 

Craig Joseph Gaspard, age 61, of Hessmer, entered into rest on July 2, 2024. He was born in Pineville, La. to Marcelin and Verdie Gaspard. 

He was a very private person and preferred keeping to himself. In his younger days, he enjoyed fishing and hunting in his free time. He was very close to his parents and always enjoyed a nice quiet day at home. 

Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelin Paul Gaspard and Verdie Mae Dauzat-Gaspard. Brother, Brent John Gaspard and brother-in-law, Conrad Franks. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his three sisters, Carol Roy (Ruben) of Hessmer; Maureen Franks (Conrad) of Deridder; Faye Mayeux (Richard) of Plaucheville; two brothers, David Gaspard (Judy) of Hickory Hill and Jeffery Gaspard of Belle d'Eau. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

A visitation we begin Friday at 5:00 p.m., lasting until 10:00 p.m. in the chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home located at 334 Acton Road in Marksville.
