Cynthia Renee Delaune

A graveside service for Cynthia Carmichael Delaune, 63, will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Road, Bossier City, Louisiana. Doctor Jimmie Vance will be officiating the service. Cynthia was born on October 3, 1957, to her father, John Carmichael Jr., and mother, Annie Huckabay, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a graduate of Fair Park High school. She worked at The Cub for many years, and everybody loved her. They all said she was a great conversationalist. Cynthia enjoyed all kinds of music but most of all she loved her family dearly. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dan Gates; daughter, Kim Delaune; sisters, Virginia Carmichael, and Stephanie Carmichael; brother, Robert Carmichael. She was survived by her brother, John Carmichael III, and wife Susan; grandson, Clint Delaune, and wife Jordan.
