Dale Jesse Thornhill, Jr.

Dale Jesse Thornhill, Jr., 71, was born January 5, 1943 in Hall Summit, LA and passed away peacefully with his son John by his side on October 17, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. He served in the U.S. Army and was also a truck driver for many years. Dale was a loving father who was always full of joy and happiness. He was well known for his happy hours and cooking. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by sons, D.J. Thornhill, John Thornhill; daughter-in-law, Kristen Melton; grandson, Paxton Thornhill; brothers and sisters, Danny and Lee Lee Rainer, Charlotte Rainer, Ed and Sherry Kaspar; nieces and nephews, Sean and Jennifer Rainer, Nicole and Jeremy Mayhew, April and Danny Deason, David and Michelle Bricker Hyland, Bill and Julie Kaspar along with other numerous assorted family.
