Dana Lynn Shouse

Funeral services for Dana L. Shouse, 55, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Pastor Denny Duron officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park East Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 at the funeral home. Dana was born June 22, 1962 to Peggy Guy Shouse and Gerald Edward Shouse and passed away April 24, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. She was part owner of Shouse Collision Repair. She attended First Assembly of God. Dana was a loving mother, daughter, sister, Nonna, and friend. She was a hard worker with a huge heart, and did her best to help anyone in need. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Edward Shouse; maternal grandparents, Irma Jewel McKethan Guy and Benjamin Earl Guy; paternal grandparents, Blaine James Shouse and Edna Earl Tanner Shouse; and her late husband, Michael Dean Underwood. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Peggy Guy Shouse; two daughters, Dana Jewel-Ann Underwood and Micah Michale Underwood; grandson, Brylin Michael Shouse Underwood; brothers, Gerald Blaine Shouse, Chris Douglas Shouse, and Keith Randall Shouse; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Honoring Dana as pallbearers will be Jerry Shouse, Gerald Shouse, Randy Shouse, Chris Shouse, Louis Restivo, and Christopher Eubanks. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family would like to give a special thanks to Sharon, Tabitha, and Dr. Nickelson.
