Funeral services for Daniel M. Dubois will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Old Town Cemetery in Haynesville, Louisiana. Officiating will be Reverend Matt Rawle.
Daniel was born on November 13, 1962 in Colfax, Louisiana to Nona and Leon Brian and passed away Tuesday June 16, 2020 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
He proudly served in the United States Navy and eventually retired from the United States Airforce. After retiring from the service, he became a mechanic at Branton Oilfield Tools. He worked there up till his passing and worked in several positions. He was a jack of all trades and a hard worker.
Daniel was a fan of NASCAR and of Jeff Gordon, often traveling to the races. He enjoyed cooking and was known for his gumbo and self claimed "world famous" burgers. He would cook huge feasts to make sure his family and friends always had something good to eat. He was a kind hearted man who put himself 2nd to everyone and never asked for anything in return. To know him was to love him.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Robbye L. Dubois and father, Leon Brian. He is survived by his son, Daniel Cody Dubois and wife, Ashley; daughters, Brooke Halverson and Megan Maggio and eight grandchildren that he loved and meant the world to him; his mother, Nona Brian; and two brothers, Michael Dubois and wife Sandy and Myron Dubois and wife Shelia.
