Danny G. Spillman

SHREVEPORT, LA- A funeral service celebrating the life of Danny Glenn Spillman Sr. will be held Saturday January, 28 2017, 12 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. The interment will take place following the service at Forest Park West. Rose-Neath Southside will also hold a visitation for friends and family, the evening prior from 5-7 p.m. Mr. Spillman was born April 20, 1949 and went to be with his son, Glenn on January 24, 2017. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and from the mouths' of his babies, "an amazing PaPa". He kept a smile on his face, laughter in his voice, and was constantly joking around. He was sure to make you feel welcomed if you were around. Mr. Spillman is preceded in death by his son, Danny Glenn Spillman Jr.; parents, George Lloyd and Bobbie Rea Spillman; two brothers, Eddie Lynn and Randy Jay Spillman; sister, Brenda Joy Spillman; nephew, Brian Scott Spillman. His memories will live on through his loving wife of 45 years, Jenny; daughter, Kathi; grandchildren, Kristine, Jade and Dani; great grandchildren, Roland, Audrey and Tegan; siblings, Dwaine, Mike, Rickey and Keith; and numerous nephews and nieces. Honoring Mr. Spillman as pallbearers will be Dee, David, Damon, Ronald, Lane and Blake.
