David Glen Fontanez

SHREVEPORT, LA - A memorial service for David Glen Fontanez, 59, will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Casey Hough, pastor of Waller Baptist Church. Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m. Friday. David was born December 12, 1955 in Spokane, WA and died July 27, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was employed as a construction superintendent. David was an avid Los Angeles Raiders fan and loved football. He was of the Christian faith. He is preceded in death by a son, Alex Fontanez. David is survived by his mother, Marie Roberts Fontanez and father, Angelo Fontanez, both of Bossier City, LA; son Max Fontanez of Austin, TX; the mother of his children, Darlene Fontanez of Shreveport, LA; sister, Cindy Rudder and husband, Steve of Katy, TX; brother, Stephen Fontanez and wife, Kim of Chandler, TX and niece and nephews, Robert Rudder, Lee Rudder and Alana Hendley.
