David Rock Hendrix, 76, died Saturday, March 28, 2020. David was born in Dallas, Texas to Truman and Doris Hendrix on March 6, 1944, and grew up in Arlington, Texas. He graduated from UT-Arlington and then received his MBA at LSU-Shreveport. He worked as an acoustical engineer at LTV and then at AMF Beaird/Riley- Beaird.
David was preceded in death by his brothers, B. Grady and Bruce Hendrix. He leaves his four children, Jamie Hendrix(Caroline), Katy LaBauve, (Candace), Kristin Mosura, and Chad Hendrix (Karen). He was blessed with so many grandchildren, Zack Colton, Kale and Konnor LaBauve, Addison, Michael and Mason Mosura, Dixie and Cord Hendrix, and Bailey and Wyatt Hendrix. He also leaves behind his lifelong fishing buddy and best friend, Tom Bundy.
Papa, as the grandkids called him, was a great friend, hunting partner, and fishing expert. He loved seeing his grandkids and being outdoors.
