David Keith LaCaze (Otis)

David Keith LaCaze (Otis), 62, of Shreveport, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on March 10, 2023. David was born on December 9, 1960 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Roland and Shelby LaCaze.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home-2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana 71118. Funeral services honoring the life of David will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Alan Koloc. Interment will be held at St. Anne Chapel Cemetery-2262 Highway 484, Natchez, Louisiana.

David graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1978. He was employed with Ethridge Electric 30+ years. In his free time, David enjoyed car racing, camping, and most of all he loved spending time with his son and grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Shelby LaCaze, and his life partner, Donna Pearson. He is survived by his son, Bryan LaCaze and wife Amanda; grandchildren, Brayden, Adalyn, and Bryson; father, Roland LaCaze; sisters, Kim LaCaze Flowers and husband Gary, Tavia LaCaze Corder and husband Chuck, and Mary Carrillo and husband Cippy; brother, Stevie LaCaze and wife Rhonda; godson, Jack; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring David as pallbearers will be Brayden LaCaze, Cippy Carrillo, Bryan Lewis, Gary Flowers, Bronson Candler, Stevie LaCaze,  Blake LaCaze, and Jack Bennett. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bryson LaCaze, Ron Martin, Chuck Corder, Rodney Lewis, and Jacob Corder.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Anne Cemetery or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
