David G. Lukasheay

KEITHVILLE, LA - Memorial services for David G. Lukasheay, 63, will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Brother Bob Moore. David "Bubba" was born in Shreveport, LA on July 4, 1952, to Michael Ray Lukasheay, Sr. and Thelma Irene Attaway Lukasheay, and passed away on March 10, 2016. Bubba loved country music, he played the guitar and sang like an angel. He loved his family dearly especially his grandsons Christian and Matthew. He had a special bond with Christian like no other. He will be missed by all that knew him. Bubba was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Thomas (Tommy) Lukasheay, and MichealRay, Lukasheay, Jr.; granddaughters, Paige Michele Sanders, and Jayland Lea Sanders. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 44 years, Peggy Lukasheay; daughter, Tonia Sanders and Owen Carson also known as Buck; grandchildren, Christian Mobley, and Matthew Bishop; Sister, Rose Lukasheay Brewer and husband, James Brewer; brother, Robert Allen Lukasheay and wife, Sallie; aunt, Betty Attaway Jennings; uncle, Claude "Lee" Attaway" and wife Pebba; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
