Dayna J. Hesson

BOSSIER CITY, LA - A memorial service for Dayna J. Hesson, 58, will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. John Fream, pastor of Cypress Baptist Church.. Dayna was born December 4, 1955 in Shreveport, LA to Walter Gene and Dolly French Jamar and died August 5, 2014 in Bossier City, LA. She was of the Baptist faith and a bus driver for the Bossier Parish School System. She loved watching her brother and children playing baseball. She was a member of the Airline High School Dugout Club the Bossier City Fire Department Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed all outdoor activities like fishing, camping and hanging out at the beach. Dayna will be missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Ida Lou Jamar, Charlie and Suella French and her in-laws, Charles and Sarah Hesson. Dayna is survived by her parents; husband, Charles Hesson, Jr.; sons, Chase Hesson and wife, Skye, Austin Hesson and fiancée, Trysha, Cole Hesson and fiancée, Aly; stepsons, Matthew and wife, Dana Hesson, Brandon Hesson and wife, Kate; brother, Randy Jamar; sister-in-law, Karen Pieper; five grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to give their warm and heartfelt thanks to the Dugout Club, Fire Department Union 1051 and friends for donating their time and support by helping with fundraisers for Dayna. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or to donor's choice.
