Deborah Fisher Baird

Funeral services for Deborah Fisher Baird will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia. Brother Stephen Beard will officiate.  Interment will follow at New Bethel Cemetery. A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath in Arcadia.

Debbie was born August 21, 1952, and passed away September 1, 2022, at the age of 70. Debbie was a secretary at Crawford Elementary School in Arcadia for 32 years, where the children adored her, and she loved them.  She loved to sit outside in the sun, she loved sunflowers, and she loved her grandchildren with all her heart, they were her world.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Margorie Fisher; husband, Roger Baird; grandchild, Remington Wayne Grissom; son-in-love, Wayne Grissom.

Debbie is survived by her children, Alisha Grissom, Justin Baird and Jennifer Herring; grandchildren, Jayce Grissom, Lariat Baird, Travis Ethridge, Peyton Herring and Gunnar Herring; siblings, Sandy Eakin, Mike Fisher and David Fisher; many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Honoring Debbie as pallbearers will be Kevin Williams, Antonio Harris (Fat), Sawyer Wages, Breanna Wages, Tara McCoy, Nikki Wages.

The family asks that attendees wear turquoise or purple in honor of Mrs. Debbie.
