Deborah "Debbie" Kay Haynie

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Deborah Kay Haynie, 61, will be held at 12:00 Noon, on Friday, January, 13, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Debbie was born November 1, 1955 in Lucedale, Mississippi to Mary Elizabeth Whiteside Haynie and Marvin William Haynie, and passed away on January 10, 2017. Debbie was retired from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office where she worked for 26 years. She enjoyed sewing hats for the children at St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Debbie loved her pets and was a devoted and loving daughter, aunt and friend. Debbie is survived by her parents, Marvin and Liz Haynie; brother, Rickey A. Haynie; nephew, Samuel W. Haynie and wife, Amber; her great-nephew, Wyatt W. Haynie; aunt, Linda Randolph and husband, Ron; her dear friend, Carolyn Thomas. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
