Debra Ann Alsabrook

Funeral services for Debra Ann Alsabrook, 71, will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 552 Pleasant Hill Cemetery Road, Plain Dealing, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Officiating will be Brother Jamison May.

Debra was born on December 24, 1952, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Donald Grayson Kauffman and Mary Evelyn Tucker Kauffman and passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 in Shreveport.

Debra was a resident of Keithville, Louisiana. She was married to her husband, Ronny Alsabrook, for 51 years. She spent a great portion of her life as his caregiver after he was injured in an accident. She was a member of Grand Cane Baptist Church. Debra was an animal lover and enjoyed motorcycle riding, LSU and New Orleans Saints football games.

Debra is preceded in death by her father, Donald G. Kauffman and brother-in-law, Rickie Reeve. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Mary Rinaudo; husband, Ronny; sisters, Donna Russell and husband, Tommy, and Pattie Reeve and late husband, Rickie Reeve; brothers, Len Kauffman, and Vernon Kauffman and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Brandon Wells, Nathan Bell, and Blayne Bell; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Debra as pallbearers will be Chase Kauffman, Cody Kauffman, Jamison Russell, Dolton Russell, Tommy Russell, and Barry Alsabrook.

The family would like to express special thanks to the staff at Willis-Knighton Pierremont for the care and compassion they gave to Debra. 

The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in Debra’s name.
