Debbie was born on February 15, 1961 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Charles and Claudi Kelley. She passed away on July 10, 2015 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Debbie's sixteen month battle with cancer was hard but she lived life every day to the fullest with a smile on her face and care in her heart for everyone. No matter what Debbie felt like she always put others first; her caring and loving personality was contagious and lifted everyone she was around. She woke up every morning with a smile on her face ready to tackle each day regardless of any trials or challenges the day may have held for her. Debbie was an inspiration to all who knew her. She enjoyed fishing; riding her motorcycle; cooking and spending time with family and friends. Debbie was quick to tell everyone how proud she was of her two Marine sons (John and Mark) whom she loved so deeply. Her beautiful face would light up with joy during conversations she shared about her two sons. Debbie also held a special place in her heart for both daughter-in-laws and grandchildren. She enjoyed her valuable time with her grandchildren and being "Nana". Showing pictures and sharing stories made "Nana" proud.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Kelley, Sr., husband, Paul Duty, Kristy Moon and Kenny Coffey. She was survived by her mother, Claudia Little; fiancée, Brad Edwardes; sons, John Duty, and wife, Brooke and Mark Duty, and wife, Amanda; sisters, Pam Locke, and Lori Coffey; brothers, Kevin Kelley, Billy Ray Coffey, Brady Butler, and Charles Kelley, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Greg Hoskins, Madalyn Hoskins, Victoria Duty, Jaxon Duty, and Jett Duty.
Debbie and Brad's relationship for one another is something that will always be remembered and cherished. They formed a bond of love and compassion for one another that will be eternal. Our memories of Debbie will last a lifetime for family, friends and everyone who knew her. You will be missed. We Love You Precious Angel.
Honoring Debbie as pallbearers will be John Duty, Mark Duty, Brad Edwardes, Kevin Kelley, Billy Ray Coffey, and Paul Bison.
