Bossier City, LA - Services for Deloris J. Turner will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 13, 2017 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Brandon Williams. Interment will follow at Lane Memorial Cemetery, Sibley, LA. Visitation will be prior to the service on Friday, beginning at 9 a.m.
Deloris was born September 7, 1933 in Effingham, IL to Jim and Glenna Arnold and died on October 9, 2017 in Bossier City. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Red Hat Society and ABWA. A former queen of the Krewe of Elders, Deloris loved to travel, cook, and spend time with family and friends. She was also a big sports fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Keith and Scott Bradley.
Deloris is survived by her husband of 35 years, Luke Turner; daughters, Yvonne Bradley, Shelia Bradley; sisters, Vickie Bond, Barbara Fearday and husband, Paul; brothers, Bob Arnold and wife, Carole, Jack Arnold, Bill Arnold; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jenifer, Candace and three great grandchildren.
Honoring Deloris as pallbearers are, Rick Avery, Jeremy Bradley, Billy Montgomery, Kelly Wells, Greg Avery, and Robert Williams.
The family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
