Dena Crawford Howe

Funeral services for Dena “Denie” Crawford Howe, 96, will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Stonewall Cemetery in Stonewall, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Officiating the service will be Reverend McKee Williams.

Denie was born on June 9, 1926 in Shelby County, Texas to Ruth and Herman Crawford and passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 in Shreveport.

Denie was a resident of Kickapoo, Louisiana and spent the majority of her life helping her husband run their dairy farm. Her faith in the Lord and her family meant everything to her. Denie was so proud and felt so blessed for the fact her family had “no issues” in their lives. She was a faithful prayer warrior. She was a charter member of the First Southern Methodist Church of Stonewall, Louisiana. When she was not outside tending her flower garden, she was reading or bird watching.
