BOSSIER CITY, LA - A memorial service for Denise Jeanine Boyle Sinz, 61, will be 3 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Chaplain Jeremy Coenen. Visitation will be prior to the service Saturday, beginning at 2 p.m.
Denise was born August 16, 1954 in Mars, PA to John and Eileen Boyle and passed away September 3, 2015 in Shreveport, LA, surrounded by her family, after a sudden illness. She worked 30 years in Civil Service at Barksdale Air Force Base. Denise began her career in the Commissary, moved to Civilian Pay and ended at the 2nd Medical Group. She was recognized by the Department of the Air Force for Exemplary Civilian Service and received her decoration at bedside, presented by Col. Ender S. Ozgul, Commander, 2nd Medical Group. Denise was loved and respected by many friends and co-workers.
Her parents precede her in death.
Denise is survived by her husband, Gregory W. Sinz; son, James W. Sinz; daughter, Priscilla Turner and husband, John; grandchildren, William, Kaylee and Karah Turner and her siblings, John, Mary Eileen, Thom(Wanda), David(Nolee), Lou(JoAnne), Tim, Veronica, Michelle(Dan), and Annette(Wes).
The family wishes to thank the nursing staff and physicians at Willis Knighton Pierremont, and SICU and the Transplant Team at Willis Knighton Medical Center for their loving care of Denise. A special thanks to Greg's co-workers at Gordon Incorporated for all their care and concern. Our very special thanks to Patricia Oakes, Sheila Lockwood and all the members of the 2nd Medical Group for their support and love shown to Denise and her family.
