BENTON, LA - Funeral services for Devin Scott Ledet will be 3 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2017 in Faith Chapel at First Baptist Bossier. Officiating will be Pastor Phillip Deas of Northpoint Community Church. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Devin was born October 27, 1977 in Denver, Co and died October 5, 2017 in Benton, LA. He was a member of First Baptist Bossier. He was a loyal sports fan, especially LSU, and enjoyed spending time with his family, whom he loved very much. Devin was employed as a land man in the oil and gas industry. He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Ray Ledet. Devin is survived by his wife, Lisa Smith Ledet; sons, Jake Scott Ledet and Sam Patrick Ledet; daughter, Ivy Rae Ledet; stepdaughter, Emily Ledet; mother, Mary Cord and husband, Patrick; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sharon and Travis Smith; brother, Ryan Ledet and wife, Alison; brother-in-law, Michael Smith and wife, Amy; sister-in-law, Stacey Hess and husband, Jason and eight nieces and nephews. Honoring Devin as pallbearers will be, Ryan Ledet, Michael Smith, Jason Hess, Jim Phillips, Matt Hudnall, Andy McHenry, Lance Spradling, Chris Morgan, B.J. Friar, Jeff Pierce, Jeff Phillips and Mike Pontius. The family suggests memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
