Dolton S. Jeane

A memorial service celebrating the life of Mr. Dolton Syviel Jeane will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Hearts United Christian Fellowship Church with Bro. Todd Egan officiating, the family will receive friends at 9:00 AM for visitation; inurnment will immediately follow at Galilee Cemetery in Evans, LA. Syviel was born September 16, 1933 in Evans, LA to Gertie (Walker) Jeane and Emmit Jeane and he entered into rest on August 25, 2020 in Shreveport, LA. He was proud of the profession he chose which was an insulator and he enjoyed carpentry work. One of his favorite past times was dancing and loved doing this every chance he could. Preceding him in death were his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Emmit Jeane; his daughter, Toni Jeane; his brother, Claude Jeane; and his great granddaughter, Christy Strickland. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Linda Patterson & husband, Wayne of Evans, LA, his daughter, Sherri Sepulvado & husband, Timbo of Many, LA, his daughter, Ginger Duffield & husband, Andy of Dallas, TX; his sister, Von Savell of Evans, LA, his sister, Shirley Wilson & husband Jim of Evans, LA, his sister, Sylvia Smith of Evans, LA, his brother, George Jeane & wife, Charleen of Evans, LA; 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 6 great, great grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
