Don Bass McKinnon

Mansfield, LA - Graveside services honoring the life of Don B. McKinnon, 62, will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Highland Cemetery in Mansfield, LA with Rev. Larry Pridmore, Pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Mansfield, officiating. Service are under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield. Don, was born March 9, 1956, the son of Chester and Oralys Freddricks McKinnon. He passed away June 3, 2018 in Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, and nephew, Joey McKinnon. Don was a lifelong resident of Mansfield. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church, formerly a Boy Scout Leader and for many years he worked with Royal Ambassadors at Mansfield First Baptist Church and Southside Baptist Church. Don also was very active with the Feed and Seed Ministry in downtown Mansfield. He is survived by his brothers, Gus McKinnon of Shreveport and Chuck McKinnon of Longview, TX; nieces, Kelly and husband Kristian McCain and their son Danny of Shreveport, Abbey and husband Eric Stuhr and their son Sebastian of Neighborton, LA and Brandy McKinnon of Longview, LA Memorial donations may be made to the Southside Baptist Church.
