Donald Eugene Herrin

Funeral services honoring the life of Donald Eugene Herrin will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana with Rev. Thumper Miller officiating. A visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m. until time of service. Donald was born on October 12, 1939 in Walters, Oklahoma to Coy and Lucy Bennett Herrin. He entered into eternal rest on June 3, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Lucy Bennett Herrin; brother, Coy Herrin, Jr.; sister, Wanda Herrin Ball (Earl); and his granddaughter, Tressa Charene Mafouz. Left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Kenneth Herrin and wife Lisa of Longview, TX and Donald Edmond Herrin of Longview, TX; sisters, Mary Herrin Drake (Floyd) of Lake Dallas, TX and Carolyn Carpenter and husband Dale of Corsicana, TX; grandchildren, Kourtney Herrin, Kendall Herrin, and Brittany Veulamen; great-grandchildren, Ryder Herrin, Kennedy Herrin, Cooper Veulamen, Sawyer Veulamen, Austin Reed, and Ashtin Reed; great-great grandchildren, Cooper Reed, Parker Reed, and Grace Reed; mother of his two sons, Pat Herrmann; a special niece-like daughter, Ginger Farmer; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
