Mansfield, LA - Funeral services for Donnie Johnson, 52, will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield with Reverend Larry Pridmore officiating. Burial will follow in the Converse Cemetery in Converse. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath in Mansfield on Friday, July 17, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Donnie was born July 24, 1962 in Clark County, MS to C.J. and Alva Mae Baker Johnson and passed away on July 15, 2015 at his residence with his family by his side. Preceding Donnie in death were his parents C.J. and Alva Mae Johnson; granddaughter Darla Mae Sparrow; sister Dorothy Andrews; and 2 brothers Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 16 years Patricia Johnson; daughter Daphne Johnson, LaShane Sparrow and husband Michael; son Jason Lee and wife Heather; grandchildren Christin Adams, Nichlas Adams, Nathan Lee, Peyton Lee and Mason Sparrow; sisters Joyce Turner, Betty Sue Turner, and Doris Vern Haney; brothers James Johnson and wife Rebecca, Willie Ed Johnson and wife Bobby Faye, and Richard Johnson and wife Ann; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Honoring the life of Donnie as pallbearers will be Mike Adams, Bradley Adams, Timbo Lindsey, Matt Behm, Thomas Tuck, and David Ryals. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Hooper and Bill Shetley.
