Donald "Donny" L. Boswell

BENTON, LA - A funeral service for Donald L. "Donny" Boswell, 74, will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Pierce. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Donny was born July 9, 1940 in El Dorado, AR to Lee Roy and Elba Anderson Boswell and passed away January 18, 2015 in Benton, LA. He was an entrepreneur and businessman in the chemical transportation industry for over 50 years, a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He loved to spend time with his family, as well as spending time on his ranch in Benton, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bobby Boswell. Donny is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diane Austin Boswell; his children, Terri Miller, James W. Boswell and wife, Carrie and their children, Jameson, Cameron and Allison, Renae Boyett and her children, Lauren, Amelia and Isabella, Scot Boswell and wife, Celia and their children, Graison and Sloan and Kari Dinkins and husband, Kevin and their children, Caroline, Kyle and Colby; sisters, Julie May and husband, Will, June Lowery and husband, Bill; brothers, Buddy Boswell and wife, Frankie, Randy Boswell and numerous nieces and nephews.
