HAUGHTON, LA - Services celebrating the life of Donald Sanford, 79, will be Friday, April 17, 2015 at Rose-Neath Bossier at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Ira Schilling. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Rose-Neath Bossier. Interment will be at 1 p.m. in the Northwest LA Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, LA. Donald was born July 22, 1935 in Hutchinson, KS. He served 23 years in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lois Arant Sanford; son, Curtis; daughters, Gwen Reynolds, Christie Sanford; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Sanford and sister, Margene Orr. His parents and three brothers precede him in death. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital, 3100 Samford, Shreveport, LA, 71103.
