Donna Kay Brown

Funeral services for Donna Kay Brown, 73, will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Stockwell Road Missionary Baptist Church, 2201 Stockwell Rd., Bossier City, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Officiating the service will be Reverend Nathan Luellen.

Donna was born on November 11, 1950 to Jack Edward Miller, Sr. and Erma Faye Harlan Miller in Fort Worth, Texas, and passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024 in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Donna’s passion for her faith was evident in all aspects of her life. As a faithful member of Stockwell Road Missionary Baptist Church, she took on multiple roles such as clerk, treasurer, and sound technician. Her commitment to her church community was unwavering, and she touched the lives of those around her with her kindness and generosity.

In addition to her church involvement, Donna found great joy in supporting and watching her grandchildren participate in various sports activities. Whether it was volleyball, football, soccer, or basketball, she could always be found cheering them on from the sidelines. Her unconditional love and encouragement inspired not only her own family but also those in the local community.

Donna’s impact extended far beyond her immediate circle. She was known for being an active member of many local churches, spreading positivity and lending a helping hand wherever it was needed. Her warm smile and compassionate spirit will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack P. Brown, Sr.; sisters, Loretta June Guidry and Elizabeth Fay Parkerson and brother, Wilburn Zane Miller. She is survived by son, Jack P. Brown, Jr.; daughter, Lisa Michelle Brown; grandchildren, Kaleigh Brown, Dalton Brown and Harlyn Brown; brother, Jack Miller and daughter-in-law, Jackie Brown.
