Donna Sue Robbins

BLANCHARD, LA - Services celebrating the life of Donna Sue Robbins, 65, will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Johnny Hicks. Interment will follow at Blanchard Cemetery in Blanchard, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at the funeral home.Donna was born to James and Donna Marie "Kitty" Graham Springer on March 5, 1950 and went to be with our Heavenly Father on February 12, 2016 in Blanchard, LA. Her favorite thing to do was to sit and read her Stephen King novels; she also enjoyed the game shows on television. Donna Sue was a devoted and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She was loved by many and will be missed every single day.She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Jane Ann. Left to cherish Donna's memory is her husband of 38 years, Steve Robbins of Blanchard, LA; sons, William Lee Hicks, Jr. and wife Angela of Sarepta, LA, and Joseph Benjamin Robbins and Angela of Blanchard, LA; daughter, Jennifer Hicks Campbell and Brian Gray of Stonewall, LA; sister, Agnes "Tag" Campbell of Bullard, TX; grandchildren, Breanna Mitchell, Hunter, Sarah and Seth Campbell, Drewscilla Welch, and special granddaughter, Abigail Robbins; great-grandchildren, J.R. and Erica Mitchell, and Paislee Campbell. Honoring Donna as pallbearers will be Seth Campbell, Ronnie Dison, Lee Hicks, Matt Millen, Phillip Semon, and Kevin Sheppard. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Becky Collins, Donna Mae Hall, John Lewis Hicks, Sr., and Marie Johnson.The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Willis-Knighton Hospice and for Lucie, Tristy, and Brenda for their kindness and caring of our mother during her stay.
