Donna Lynn Weaver

Graveside services for Donna Lynn Weaver will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, LA under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, LA. Rev. Bill Mills will be officiating. 

Donna was born November 18, 1951, in Shreveport, LA to Bonnie Dee Allison and Janice Roton. She went to meet with the Lord on February 27, 2025, in Minden, LA. 

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Weaver of Minden, LA. She is survived by her sons, Robert D. Johnson (Tricia) Ringgold, LA; Charles L. Shaver (Carrie) of Plain Dealing, La; and Jeffery N. Shaver of Minden, LA. And her daughter, Stacy Molchan (Steve) of Tucson, Arizona, Donna is survived by her grandchildren, Aaron Johnson, Nathan Johnson, MeKayl Johnson, Kyndall Wise, Morgan, Johnson, Greysin Shaver, Kimberly Shaver, Aubrey Huddleston, Sabrina Duval, Cory Lee Montgomery, and Jeffery Scott Montgomery. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Serena Johnson, Wyatt Peace, Leanna Peace, Jaxxon Burnette, Kinsley Burnette, Arliss Beaux Duval. 

Donna was employed for over ten years at Camp Minden. Her office was on the second floor. When her back pain became an issue, she could no longer manage the stairs, so she had to resign. When Harold’s office secretary resigned, Donna stepped in to take over those responsibilities. So she was there when Harold’s health declined, and he needed her to care for him. Harold was the love of Donna’s life for over twenty years. They were married in July of 1999 until his death in 2018. She shared Harold’s love of flowers and plant life. Her boys say she was also passionate about fishing. She enjoyed good books and towards the end of her life, she also became passionate about the Lord.
