Donnie L. Aymond

Shreveport, LA- Donnie L. Aymond was born August 25, 1921 in Pleasant Hill, LA. She was called Home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 16, 2015. Visitation will be held Monday, May 18, 2015from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Marshall Street. Graveside serviceswill be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Forest Lawn Memorial Parkin Ball, LA. Ms. \"Luke\" as she was known by many was a devoted wife of 64 years and loving mother. She was passionate about cooking, gardening, sewing and quilting. But most importantly Mom's calling from God was to be a Prayer Warrior. She served God and her church faithfully. The family has peace knowing Mother will be with Jesus. Left to cherish Mom\'s memory are two sons; Raymond Aymond, Jr. and wife Diane, Bruce A. Aymond and wife Sue; of Pollock, LA; two daughters, Patricia A. Cloud and Sharon K. Aymond, of Shreveport, LA. Two sisters, Faye Aldredge, and Virginia Attaway of Blanchard, LA. Seven grandchildren, Bryan C. Cloud, Allan Aymond, Jason W. Cloud, Barbara A. Manasco, Ashton W. Aymond, Dina Simone (Monie) Hearne, and Betty A. Adams. Thirteen great grandchildren;six great great grandchild. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family extends a special thanks to the staff at Garden Park with special thanks to Dr. David Colvin, Stacy Durr and Laura Campbell. Pallbearers will be Bryan C. Cloud, Allan Aymond, Jason W. Cloud, Ashton W. Aymond, David Aymond and Brady Manasco. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Blanchard Nazarene Church 251 North Main Street, Blanchard, LA 71009 and Fellowship Chapel, P.O.
