Donnie W. Dixon

Keithville, LA- Memorial services for Donnie Woodrow Dixon, 65, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Bro. Jim Gstohl officiating. Inurnment will follow in Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, LA. Donnie was born January 24, 1952 in Nacogdoches, TX to Villous and Vonnie Dixon. He passed away on October 19, 2017 in Shreveport, LA after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. Donnie proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines. He retired from the LA Department of Veterans Affairs. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Terry Dixon; and daughter, Kellie Dixon. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Sherrie Dixon; son, Jessie Dixon; daughter, Casey Cotton and husband, Jeromy; grandchildren, Chase Allen and Haven Cotton; sisters, Martha Toney and Judy Beaird; and brothers, Jimmy Dixon and Mike Dixon.
