Graveside services honoring the life of Donny Rix Parker were held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2020 located at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Stanley, Louisiana with Rev. Amador Santos officiating. Donny was born on January 7, 1940 in Henderson, Texas to Garland Bailey Parker and Willie Galloway Parker. He entered into eternal rest on November 7, 2020 in Stanley, Louisiana. Donny is preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Willie Parker. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bennie Ferguson Parker of Stanley, Louisiana; son, Don Ferguson Parker & wife Kim of Stanley, Louisiana; daughter, Candace Parker Angelle & husband Thad of Orange, Texas; brothers, Marlin Parker & wife Verna Mae of Carthage, Texas and Keith Parker & wife Becky of Stanley, Louisiana; grandchildren, Dustyn Rix Parker, Baylee Parker Sharrow, Tyler Angelle, Chase Angelle, & Cody Angelle; great-grandchildren, Drake Rix Parker, Paislee Elizabeth Sharrow, Marlee Rixanne Sharrow, & Annelee James Sharrow. Honoring Donny as pallbearers were Don Parker, Dustyn Parker, Drake Parker, Chase Angelle, Tyler Angelle, Thad Angelle, Steven Sharrow, and Cody Angelle.
