Mansfield, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Doris Bagley, 83, will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Grand Cane Baptist Church in Grand Cane, LA with Reverend Michael Scott and Reverend Richard Tull officiating. Visitation will start at 12:00 PM till time of service. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Grand Cane, LA. Doris was born on October 28, 1932 in Shreveport, LA to Ralph and Alma Edington Holmes and passed away on September 19, 2016 in Shreveport, LA. Preceding Doris in death were her parents Ralph and Alma Holmes; son, Ralph Stephen Bagley and an infant son, and grandson Robert Levi Bagley. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Leon Williams Bagley of Shreveport, LA; sons, Robert Leon Bagley and wife Sandra of Iron Mountain, Michigan, William Levi Bagley of Grand Cane, LA; daughter, Teresa Ann Blacklock and husband Joey of Shreveport, LA; 2 brothers; 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Those honoring the life of Doris as pallbearers will be Lamar Holmes, John Denison, Representative Larry Bagley, Bruce Chaffin, Charlie Young, and Austin Eakin.
