Minden, LA Doris Perkins Chandler Funeral services for Doris Perkins Chandler will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Carolyn Michaels officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Haynesville, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from noon Tuesday until service time at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Doris was born January 5, 1932 in Leesville, Louisiana and entered into rest March 17, 2017 in Arcadia, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband's Johnny Perkins and Richard Chandler, daughter Judy Coker and brother Maxey Jowers. She is survived by her son Michael Perkins and wife Mary of Houston TX, daughter DeWanda Perkins of Minden, LA, sisters Linda Lofton of Natchez, MS, Carolyn Russell of Black Lake, LA, Kay Browning of Natchez, MS, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
