BOSSIER CITY, LA - A graveside service for Doris Mae Andrews Coker will be 4 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Lay Cemetery, Benton, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Kenny Joyner. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City. Doris was born July 19, 1928 in Benton, LA to Albert Martin and Mary Anderson Andrews and died October 9, 2014 in Bossier City, LA. She was a member of Red River Baptist Church, Benton, LA and a retired bookkeeper. Preceding Doris in death is her husband, Lambert Coker; her parents; daughter, Catherine Coker; brother, Woodrow Andrews and sisters, Inez Merritt, Lucille Anderson and Betty Jane Reigle. She is survived by daughters, Carol Herz and husband, Jerry of Casper, WY, Barbara Roberts and husband, James of West Monroe, LA, Cheryl Vowell of Bossier City, LA; sister, Johnnie Weaver of Bossier City, LA; brothers, William Andrews and Curtis Andrews of Benton, LA; grandchildren, Michelle LeMay, D'Anna Fuert, Michael Andrews, Jamie Roberts, Jennifer Steadman, Andrew Vowell, Alan Vowell and 12 great grandchildren.
